Steve Johnstone is a pioneering eXp Realty Team Leader whose influence extends far beyond traditional real estate. With more than 22 years of experience in real estate training and coaching, Steve has empowered thousands of agents to elevate their careers. His journey has been defined by building not just businesses, but people. Holding a BCom in Accounting and a Masters in Theology, Steve blends strategic insight with a people-first approach. In 2022, he was named eXp Realty’s Global Agent of the Year in recognition of his outstanding leadership and growth impact. Today, Steve leads eXp Realty's largest international revenue share team in the 26 countries outside the US and Canada, with nearly 1,000 agents in South Africa alone—five times larger than the next biggest group. As founder of BUILD Africa, the country’s largest agent-led real estate event, Steve is passionate about creating spaces where agents learn, collaborate, and thrive. His team culture is recognised as one of the strongest in the country, built on collaboration, accountability, and generosity. Away from work, Steve enjoys golf and cherishes time with his wife of 25 years and their three adult children.
